Anyone in #ontag business that is, or know anybody that knows everything about #caseih gps software. Having issues again with swaths being gone and not following swaths properly.
@MdMcLean1 Use to always be April corn was better but the last 5 or so years the later planted and even June corn was better. Hybrids have really improved.
@RealRedVealFarm@AdamJPfeffer@Dungannon_Dan@MdMcLean1@FieldwalkerAg 2 of 2.. always had a outside company make them for us, but last ones service and job was terrible. If there was an easy simple program out there to work with AFS equipment I would love to know and would be interested in doing myself.
@RealRedVealFarm@AdamJPfeffer@Dungannon_Dan@MdMcLean1@FieldwalkerAg 1 of 2.. been doing prescription planting and fertility for years now, we have highly variable soil soil so I feel it has always been worth it, especially fertilizer. Corn/fertilizer would be opposite of bean pops.
@j_0Neil I used the ubiquiti p2p from my house to the shop, ship has the antenna good for up to 22 kms away and that sends internet to my barn at home and my other hog barn on another farm. Any future building on any farms in future I can catch from my shop.
@Shawridgefarm Im watching this with my 11 and 9 year old, they are finding it really interesting and it's showing them how good they have it because of all these people that fought against the nazi's
@LMcLachlan60@Cornfrmr@Case_IH Have had to replace ours once, which was warranties but they just don't hang in there for power like the Cummins did. And for reliability they are always setting wrong may never get another.
Staryed back at corn today, going at the flats fields while the rest of the ground dries out another day. Always hate crossing here. #harvest2023, #ontag
