FIFA and CAF Mission directed the revocation of all unilateral FKF appointments and ordered that all future decisions, nominations, and appointments be approved by the National Executive Committee.
During yesterday's National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, the FIFA and CAF Mission reaffirmed that all governance matters within the Federation must be initiated, discussed, and approved solely through the NEC, in line with the FKF Constitution and established governance frameworks.
The Mission emphasized that all resolutions, actions, nominations, and appointments require the approval and authorization of the NEC. It also directed that unilateral decision-making within the Federation must end with immediate effect.
As a result, all appointments and nominations made without NEC approval, including those to the CAF Standing Committees, the AFCON Local Organising Committee Functional Committees, the AFCON Local Organising Committee Secretariat, and other bodies, will be revoked. These positions will be filled through a fresh, transparent, and constitutionally compliant process overseen by the NEC.
Baringo County Government has flagged off a tuk-tuk ambulance donated by Dandelion Africa to Tiaty Constituency, a remote area in Kenya with poor network coverage and limited access to healthcare.
A football coach attached to an FKF Division One club in Nairobi has been reported to police over allegations of defrauding players and parents through fake overseas football placement deals.
According to a formal complaint, the coach promised to secure a player's move to a club in Latvia, including visa processing and accommodation, for a fee of €1,500.
The complainant says €750 was paid via M-Pesa on April 2, 2026, followed by an additional Ksh15,000 for visa processing, but none of the promised services were delivered.
The complaint further alleges that the coach became unreachable after receiving the money and ignored repeated requests for a refund.
The case also references similar claims from other parents, including one who allegedly lost Ksh1.5 million over a failed move to Slovakia and another who reportedly lost €7,000 under a similar arrangement.
The matter has been reported at Kilimani Police Station under OB No. 40/22/06/26. Complainants claim the coach used his role at the Nairobi-based FKF
Brazil (1966), France (2002), Italy (2010), Spain (2014), and Germany (2018) all suffered shocking World Cup title defence failures, with most exiting at the group stage.
Brazil were eliminated after defeats to Hungary and Portugal, France failed to score a single goal, Italy finished bottom of their group after a 3–2 loss to Slovakia, Spain exited after heavy defeats to Netherlands and Chile, and Germany were knocked out after losses to Mexico and South Korea.
In contrast, 2022 champions Argentina have started strongly, winning their first two group matches, including a 2–0 victory over Austria, as they aim to break the so-called “champions’ curse.”
Rapcha The Sayantist says he knew ex-wife Marya Prude would react to recent news of media personality Willis Raburu’s divorce with Ivy Namu.
Rapcha claims Prude hasn’t moved on.
“What I’ve observed as an observer, juu mimi ni Mpenzi Mtazamaji, is that from 2020–2025, those are five years. Five years is enough time for one to start and finish high school and start a degree. I find her (Marya Prude) every time Willis talks she has to react. It’s like she’s waiting for your misfortune. According to my own observation, she was the problem.”

Public speaking is an art that does not come naturally to everyone. I must admit that it is not my strongest suit either.
That said, I watched several players during the end-of-season gala struggle to express themselves, which was perfectly understandable.
In such moment, with emotions running task, excitement, gratitude and the spotlight firmly on them, finding the right words might not have been an easy task.
However, there is room for improvement when it comes to communication among our players, coaches, officials and other stakeholders. Being comfortable in at least one of the official languages should be a priority.
I still remember the 2018 gala when Felly Mulumba, after winning the Defender of the Season award, proudly delivered his speech in French when he had an option of doing in Kiswahili. @Fabian_Odhiambo promised to translate it but moons later, he is yet to deliver. Typical Kisumu man behaviour, some might say.
Jokes aside, moments like that highlight the importance of effective communication. Whether in English, Kiswahili, or any other language, the ability to connect with supporters, teammates, sponsors and the media matters.
To our players: attend those clinics, refine your English or Kiswahili, and above all, do not be media-shy. Speak with confidence on and off the pitch.
Man's pettiness should be studied. Enyewe Mwafreeka basically anaambia Polo Kimani aende ile place inaitwa 'kajitombe' cause man ain't pulling out from this debate😂
Iko Nini podcaster Mwafreeka again urges Polo Kimani to use deodorant, recalling an interview where he says the room was filled with body odour.
"The moment he entered the room, the smell changed. Once in a while, you have to take an occupation hazard. The excuse I gave him was that he's young and he doesn't understand the importance of hygiene and how people perceive you"
I remember the day that he (Polo Kimani) came. He had what Zimbabweans call "Ekwapa." The whole place was stinking!
