@Mjusto18@LNthlane Take your land back from white people and let foreigners laugh out loud from terraces kkkkk Zimbabwe will become heaven overnight ngiyakutshela
@Denzel_rudolf@VillageGuluva Exactly 💯. This is no way to attract foreign/local investment. Who would want to open a business here if the locals are so hostile? These March and March people are doing so much damage, and no one can see that
@omoboy1940@manD34567 It no longer needs a prophet to tell that S. A will collapse under such acts, who will invest in a country where your property rights are violated to such extent by every Tom and Dick and they suddenly become your shareholder and make decisions for you through threats
The man in these images is National Democratic Working Group (NDWG) Matabeleland South Provincial Chairperson, Bhekimpilo Mbedzi, being taken to court in chains over his political activism. Whatever the allegations against him may be, the optics of a political activist being paraded in shackles are deeply damaging to Zimbabwe’s image.
Images like these are precisely why Zimbabwe continues to be viewed as a pariah state by much of the international community. Every time the government speaks about reform, re-engagement, attracting investment, or turning a new page, those efforts are undermined by scenes that suggest political dissent is being criminalised and that activists are being treated like dangerous criminals.
No serious investor, diplomat, or democratic nation looks at such images and concludes that Zimbabwe is genuinely committed to democratic values, human rights, and the rule of law. Instead, they see a country where those who challenge authority are publicly humiliated while individuals accused of corruption often walk into court without such treatment.
This is how countries become a laughing stock. It is impossible to market Zimbabwe as open for business and ready for international re-engagement while simultaneously producing images that belong to a darker chapter of our history.
Every photograph of a political activist in chains reinforces the perception that Zimbabwe has not embraced democratic reform and remains trapped in authoritarian practices.
If Zimbabwe genuinely seeks international respect, investment, and re-engagement, it must understand that reforms are judged by actions, not slogans. Images such as these undo years of diplomatic efforts and further isolate our country from the community of democratic nations.

Bail denied is a right denied.
These charges thrown at our Democrat Bheki are baseless. Zimbabweans must decide for themselves not to be cohersed into their useless agendas. We shall fight 2030 with all our resources in our disposal.

@MdharaTheo@RichardGarwe Kuhle ngoba you say you think, anyone can have a thought separate to yours, but the fact that it happened only on foreigners during xenophobia attacks ke lapho lets see whose thought makes sense

UPDATE | Bhekhimpilo Mbedzi (41), who was arrested yesterday is now facing charges of inciting an unlawful gathering after he posting a self-recorded video on Facebook mobilising Zimbabweans to protest against the recently signed Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.
According to court documents, Mbedzi posted the video on 10 July 2026, in which he was seen holding a placard bearing the message “NO TO 2030” while encouraging members of the public to participate in a demonstration scheduled for 31 July 2026.
Mbedzi, who is associated with the NDWG led by opposition politician Job Sikhala, was reportedly taken to an unknown location following his arrest. The State alleges that Mbedzi failed to notify the relevant regulatory authority of the planned gathering, as required under the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act (MOPA). Police reportedly recovered a Samsung Galaxy A04e cellphone, which they believe was used to upload the video.
He is being charged with inciting an unlawful gathering in terms of Section 187 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act, read together with Sections 7(1)(a) and 7(5) of the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act. Mbedzi has since appeared before the Beitbridge Magistrate’s Court, and the matter remains before the courts.
FROM INBOX | would like this story to understand whether a police officer is legally allowed to take control of a person's vehicle and what legal options are available to families who have lost their loved ones in such incidents.
This Nissan AD Van operating between Banket and Chinhoyi was stopped by a ZRP officer. The officer instructed the driver to surrender control of the vehicle, saying that he would drive it to drop off passengers in town before proceeding to Chinhoyi Central Police Station. The driver reportedly refused and insisted that he should remain in control of his own vehicle.
However, the driver was forcibly removed from the driver's seat and the police officer took over driving the vehicle. Shortly after driving off, the Nissan AD Van was involved in a head-on collision with a kombi that was overtaking another vehicle.
Several passengers from both the Nissan AD Van and the kombi died at the scene, including the Nissan AD Van driver, identified as Willy.
Meanwhile, the ZRP has since confirmed the fatal road traffic accident, which occurred on the afternoon of 16 July 2026 at the 110-kilometre peg along the Harare–Chirundu Road near the Chinhoyi Provincial Heroes Acre.
According to the ZRP, six people were killed in the accident, while the number of injured victims is still being established. More details are expected to be released in due course.
The ZRP promised to release further details in due course.

Preferring Ronaldo over Messi is just personal opinion and that’s okay.
