This app is at the worst it has ever been. He broke it. For reasons even God doesn’t know why, the algorithm has been tweaked resulting in the subverting of what Twitter was meant to be about: breaking news, fresh, pre-trending & trending content, real-time discovery, in-the-know on a wide variety of topics from across the world.

Pfft, gone. Like one random tweet and every third post on your feed will be about that now. You liked it innit? You like that topic innit? So here it is: eat it up. Forever.

Reading between the lines on the Amorim interview…..

"To start with that, I noticed that you received selective information about everything”

The hierachy are leaking information to the media, potentially to protect themselves.

"I came here to be the manager of Manchester United, not to be the coach of Manchester United. That is clear.”

Forget the role terminology here, that’s not Amorims point. Yes his title is Head Coach but Amorim does not expect or agree to tactical and selection issues being made by anyone in the hierarchy.

"I know that my name is not [Thomas] Tuchel, it's not [Antonio] Conte, it's not [Jose] Mourinho, but I'm the manager of Manchester United. And it's going to be like this for 18 months or when the board decides to change.”

Someone (or multiple people) from above have asked Amorim to change his methods. His point here being that there is no way they would have asked the mentioned managers to change their ways. And he not change or agree to the hierarchy making football decisions while he remains in charge.

“I'm not going to quit. I will do my job until another guy is coming here to replace me."

You will basically have to sack me as I am not compromising the decisions in this role for the next 18 months

“In every department - the scouting department, the sporting director – [they] need to do their job. I will do mine for 18 months and then we move on.”

The club knew how Amorim wanted to work. Now go out and do your jobs to find players who will work in his system. This suggests he will not be backed in this transfer window and he has been told that.

"I just want to say that I'm going to be the manager of this team, not just the coach. I was really clear on that. That is going to finish in 18 months and then everyone is going to move on. That was the deal. That is my job. Not to be a coach."

Reiterates the point that his role, when joining, was one of a manager and not a Head Coach (forget titles). ‘That was the deal’. He mentions 18 months again as a clear threat, he is not resigning and they will have to sack him should they want change.

"If people cannot handle the Gary Nevilles and the criticisms of everything, we need to change the club."

Strange one. It must have been mentioned to Amorim from members of the hierarchy that pundits are questioning his tactics. Amorim is questioning anyone above him whose opinion is being swayed by the media.
