Losing a 2nd seat to the government would be unprecedented, but to do so days after a high profile government resignation is beyond belief.
If Labour loses Batley and Spen, Keir Starmer has got to go
Crushing defeat for Labour in Hartlepool. Not possible to blame Jeremy Corbyn for this result. Labour won the seat twice under his leadership. Keir Starmer must think again about his strategy #HartlepoolByElection
@l_d1995x But he's done none of that. So the idea that the pandemic has made it impossible for Labour to be ahead in the polls just doesn't make sense. Instead of doing what you've described and condemning Tory failure whilst setting out a bold alternative, he has let them off the hook
@l_d1995x Starmer doesn't have a pandemic to 'deal' with, he's in opposition. What he's doing is failing to capitalise on one of the world's worst mishandlings of Coronavirus by spending the past year sucking up to the government.
As theres not long left to vote here's your reminder NOT TO VOTE. Neither candidate has been willing to call out corruption and both r puppets of the national leadership
@RedRosa91940184@TheProleStar@LabGrassroots It seems that Joanne Anderson may have links to Starmer. She certainly appears to have worked under him at the CPS for 5 years.
Did Keith sound her out to run for mayoral candidate?
If yes, was this before or after the 3 existing candidates were binned?

wonder if @LiamThorpECHO is going to do a piece on his mate Malcolm living in a different country while accepting his Liverpool councillor salary? or is it only bad when its people who don't feed him information
