An interactive meeting was held between the Excise Depts of the Govts of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam on 17.06.2026 at Civil Secretariat, Itanagar.

3 days training on GST Act & Rules began today for the Officers of Tax, Excise & Narcotics Deptt, GoAP at DKCC, Itanagar.

The Department of Tax, Excise & Narcotics bid farewell to one of its senior officers Sri Tanon Tatak, Deputy Commissioner, TE&N who retired from government service on superannuation in a glittering function earlier today. He joined the department as Inspector in 1994.

GoAP through the establishment of drug de-addiction centers in various districts, enhancing existing facilities and with initiatives like the Mukhya Mantri Nasha Mukti Yojana, has taken a firm stance against drug abuse in the State. These tangible steps offer assistance and resources to individuals grappling with addiction.

I encourage all residents of Arunachal to unite in the battle against drug abuse and collectively build a more secure and healthier Arunachal Pradesh.

Arunachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Bill, 2023 was passed today in its amended form during the #MonsoonSession of State Assembly.

It's a significant step towards having a more efficient tax administration under the GST framework. This will have a positive impact on the state's economy and will facilitate its integration into the national tax system.

The House also celebrated the success of #Chandrayan3, showcasing India's capabilities in space exploration.
