It was a beautiful day for @BelairChief and I to join @queensu students and @KtownFire members in support of the Canadian Cancer Society at the 2023 Robinson’s Mud Run.
BFES Urban crews battled a large cedar mulch fire early Sunday morning. Due to the distance off the road, a water supply was maintained with assistance from BFES Rural and QW tankers. Crews had the fire under control as the sun was rising on Mothers Day.

I would like to thank DC Hammond, FF Sager & FF Chadwick of Napanee FD for passing on their tanker shuttle procedure & knowledge to BFES Rural members this morning.
BFES Stations #3, #4 & #5 are on scene of a structure fire in the area of 6864 highway 62. With tanker support from Quinte West FD, the blaze was quickly brought under control.
After 36 years of dedicated service to his community, BFES Station Commander Cliff Christopher received the customary drive home tonight by Station 3, 4 & 5 Firefighters. Congratulations and enjoy your well deserved retirement Cliff. @BellevilleFire@BellevilleON
