I can’t lie, I never expected this gimmick account to get this far. At all. Now that this account is suspended, I should finally admit something lol (a thread)
President Trump said: “I think Ukraine should hurry to accept the peace plan, this winter will be cold. Zelensky will have to approve the American plan. If he doesn’t like it, he can keep fighting. I believe you know that if he doesn’t accept it, U.S. support will be withheld. I think peace between Ukraine and Russia is coming soon.”
Luis Díaz has been handed a 3-match ban following his red card against PSG. Bayern had expected a one-match ban. The club has requested the written justification of the ruling from UEFA in order to appeal the decision [@cfbayern, @linner_nicolas, @itstheicebird]
Ukraine being asked to halve the size of its Army is unacceptable.
I am waiting to see a counter proposal from @ZelenskyyUa’s government.

❗️Trump's plan for peace in Ukraine provides for security guarantees modeled on NATO, – Axios.
▪️This involves a 10-year security guarantee, under which the United States and European allies would consider any future large-scale attack by Russia on Ukraine as an attack on the entire "transatlantic community";
▪️This means that the United States and Europe would be able to respond, including with the use of military force, after urgent consultations;
▪️The document includes signature lines for Ukraine, the United States, the EU, NATO, Russia.
@slantchev I don‘t see Ukraine giving up Kramatorsk and Sloviansk tbh, especially considering the fortifications there and that Russia has still not fought a battle for a city the size of Kramatorsk or Sloviansk
Damn they already lost? Such a shame, I‘m sure they‘ll now release pictures of Russians in Kyiv
Or Odesa
Or Kharkiv
Or Zaporizhzhia
Or Kherson
Or even Kramatorsk…
🇺🇸🇩🇪 The US would like Germany to take over the command of Nato forces in Europe, Whitaker has said, - The Times
In remarks that elicited shock from a German Nato general seated next to him, Matthew Whitaker said it was Washington’s long-term “aspirational goal” that Berlin should appoint the supreme allied commander Europe (Saceur) as Europe assumes more responsibility for its own defence.
Whitaker hailed Berlin as a “clear example” for other allies to follow and urged them to “step up” and follow the Germans in “strengthening the alliance’s deterrent capacity and … support for Ukraine”.
@NSTRIKE01 While I agree, exactly what compromises does the Russian side need to make? Don‘t talk about compromise if only one side needs to make concessions
Nearly 9 months have passed since the Trump-Zelensky meeting in the Oval Office.
What has Europe done since to strengthen Ukraine’s hand in any future peace negotiations?
Where is Taurus? Where are the 155 mm shells, the helicopters, the fighter jets, the IFVs and APCs?
How much have they increased their military production? Their drone technology?
As things are now, the Nordics and the Baltics are sending significant military aid compared to the their national budgets. The rest aren’t sending much more than words of encouragement.
As expected Ukrainian President Zelenskyy didn’t even consider the Russian-Trump „proposal“, refusing to even talk to Witkoff. It is basically the same ridiculous wishlist Putin has unsuccessfully put forward again and again. Instead Zelenskyy met his Turkish counterpart, President Erdogan, with a true ceasefire proposal.
Turkish president Erdogan once again emphasized that Türkiye unconditionally respects the Ukrainian territorial integrity and underlined the special bond the Turkish people has with the Crimean-Tatar people on the Russian-occupied Ukrainian peninsula, which is once again subject to Russian oppression.
