"Democratic governments" in North America and Europe simply identify every protestor in the rioting mob, and instruct banks to freeze their accounts. Journalists and outlets found spreading falsehoods are hit with millions of dollars in fines under libel laws.
I’m one of the relatively few people here lucky (see: old 😂) enough to have watched Lionel Messi’s entire career.
Every World Cup match, every minute at Barcelona, ~every MLS game.
Teenager, prodigy, master, legend.
Watching him light up the world’s biggest stage at 38 affirms why I won’t even entertain any comparison to his greatness, at any age, (esp when 99% of ppl here didn’t watch his earliest years).
Peerless, the best ever.
Signing the right players is an important part improving the squad. However, what is equally important, especially within La Liga's FFP regulations, is letting go of certain players.
Keeping players like Olmo (and Araujo, Rashford, Kounde etc) is a project stalling decision.
Rowdy tourist exists in all races and community
Russians are being banned by Bali hotels, Chinese tourists are notorious for shitting openly on European streets
But only an Indian will say Racism and hate on all Indians is justified because some people behaved poorly
"It is incredible how much mass slaughter one can get away with when you have the protective cover of the intellectual class."
This is the most important line about Bengal from another post by @IndiaSpeaksPR. As @jsaideepak documents below, after the 2021 election, BJP voters and even some CPM voters were murdered or raped, and the "intellectual media" looked the other way because they wanted to "save" Bengal from a party they disliked. That was it.
Bengal was a heroic win for the BJP, paid for with blood. I cannot imagine the sacrifices made.
My salute to the brave warriors who fought hard to get here🙏
1. Just got off a call with @UnSubtleDesi. I couldn't be happier for her and both of us couldn't help but discuss the harrowing days of post poll violence in West Bengal in 2021. So I am going to share what happened five years ago just so ppl know what happened. #WestBengal2026.
Your party members murdered over 150 before 2021 itself, so STFU when a few are getting beaten up.
Those who were yelling at the HM, 'baap-er bete howe', 'khomta', 'kolkata thaakbe', have no moral right to even weep. Just cope.
all muslim majority seats voting for TMC is victory for secularism.
all non muslim majority seats voting for BJP is total polarisation.
this is the sorry state of "liberal commentary" in our country.
Kumar Vishwas on Dhurandhar:
📌It's understandable if the people of Lyari call it propaganda.
📌It's perfectly okay if Chaudhry Aslam's widow calls it propaganda.
📌But when an Indian calls it propaganda, it reveals whose side you are on.
📌Even if Aditya Dhar has made a propaganda film, who is it against? It's against Pakistan. What's wrong in showing Unknown Gunmen shooting terrorists? If you a citizen of India you should applaud Dhurandhar.
📌Hockey captain was a Hindu, but you Bombay wallahs made him Kabir Khan. Kashmiri Pandits were expelled by Muslims but you showed something else. You portrayed Hindu priests as lascivious and Christian priests as noble.
📌The movie 'Fire' is based on Ismat Chugtai's Lihaaf in which the lesbians are Muslims - Begum Jaan and Rabbu - but you named them Sita and Radha.
📌You Bombay wallahs are attacking Dhurandhar because the film exposes the propaganda you were peddling all these years.
Desi Kim Kardashian who’s very good at vacuous liberal virtue signalling, apparently lost her voice while interviewing Laura Loony. Vicious Islamophobic remarks going unchallenged. That ghastly 50 rupee Lakme foundation must’ve constricted the jawbones.
"Muji don't tell me the technicals, it wasn't moral of USA to shoot down the Iranian ship, India should be ashamed"
Ok, let's be moral, but not selectively moral, be fully moral
USA absolutely did morally bankrupt thing to sink the ship
USA absolutely did morally wrong to invade Iran and violate it's sovereignty
But
Iran killed 36,000 people in few weeks - footage is there - was it moral
Iran regularly sent women accused of "lack of modesty" to be executed or getting lashes - was it moral
Be fully moral, not selectively
If you have a moral worldview condemn equally - across spectrum - this means everyone is equally guilty - no one is a pure victim
I personally am very rational, I can look other way if my country's objectives are met - this means supporting investment in Iran despite human rights violation
And not giving a fck as to what happens in international waters outside my territory limits at the same time
@rajuidesai Even if most of the people say the budget was bad, it's just because there were no direct benefits given to the middle and lower middle class. No big headline, as a long term bet it was a decent budget, not made to grab headlines and appease everyone.
It amazes me how liberals walk away from their words without consequences
5 random guys did a prayer for Trump ... liberals still taunting BJP today
Go check entire early 2000s... Chavez & Maduro were hero worshiped by liberals as saviors of humanity
They reduced Venezuela to dust, but no liberal ever even admitted how wrong they were
Latest example was Yunus in Bangladesh, another liberal hero
Not one liberal has acknowledged how they were cheering a crazy dictator just a year ago.
Now they are mocking Modi for not putting Yunus in place!
Amazing...
This gig work debate would not exist if we had avoided the socialist nonsense of the 70s and 80s. We would have had manufacturing.
By now, we would have had more high-quality employment opportunities and a higher per-capita GDP, leading to higher pay for gig workers, too.
Socialism looks poetic as long as it doesn’t involve you. The debate for Swiggy and Zomato delivery guys will become interesting if maids and cooks are also roped in for minimum wages and insurance.
If leftists and their foolish narratives are to be believed, you shouldn't mine, you shouldn't build highways and airports, you shouldn't go for manufacturing semiconductors, you shouldn't go for entry-level IT jobs, you shouldn't go for the gig economy.
What to do then?
> I loved PK
> I loved Haider
> I loved URI
> I loved Dhurandhar
And
> I found Pathaan a Shit
> I found "The accidental prime minister" a shit.
I'm neither right or left, I'm just a "good movie" lover.
Just finished watching #Dhurandhar I don't get why a section of people found this movie to be problematic! The movie does these things in my opinion:
1. It shows the real face of the Pakistani state apparatus and does it really well.
2. It shows how the Indian state apparatus works within gigantic limitations.
3. The most important thing is it shows intelligence agents as heroes. An average Indian is used to hero worshipping their armed forces which they throughly deserve. But the intelligence apparatus does not get glory. Some of it is by design/compulsion. But to see a movie celebrating R & AW and IB really warms my heart.
Akshay Khanna was fantastic in the movie. Also I loved the fact that @AdityaRajKaul name gets mentioned in the credits. I would recommend everyone to watch the movie. I am still scratching my head about the outrage against the movie. They found this bigoted?
Dear fools,
I know you want to blame Election Commission. Because you cannot accept that people are rejecting your worthless dynastic leader.
But at least try to understand what the Election Commission is.
The EC is not like the Railway with lakhs of people working for it. The EC has only a handful of employees.
During election, the EC enlists thousands of govt employees to do "election duty." These people are brought in for a few weeks, and given a day or two of training in actual election process.
These people are sent to the field to do everything, from overseeing booths, matching with voter rolls, to counting votes.
Then, these people go back to do their daily jobs. Now can you imagine what it would take to train thousands of these temporary workers in systematic "vote chori"?
Do you really think all these thousands of people can be part of BJP conspiracy? Do you think there are no INDI alliance supporters among them who will make videos and expose the EC?
And every part of the election process is open to inspection. Every party has booth workers who sit at every booth and check for any cheating. Once these EVMs are sealed and then put in strong room, party workers sit all day all night guarding them.
Where do you think vote chori is happening? Thousands of people are being trained in 1-2 days by EC to do "vote chori" and nobody is exposing them? Lakhs of party workers are standing all day, all night and guarding...and still EVMs are being stolen without anyone noticing?
Okay, does this mean no party can have legitimate grievances against EC?
Of course not. At least 2 former CECs, including T N Seshan himself, joined Congress later. Even before becoming CEC, you should check how close Seshan was to the Congress establishment.
Work of EC is of 2 kinds
1) Administrative: deciding polling dates, enforcing model code of conduct.
Only these things are decided by a small group of EC's real officials. In these things, you can accuse them of bias if you want. Back in the day, Modi himself had pointed fingers at CEC James Michael Lyngdoh who was deliberately delaying Gujarat election. EC didn't even let Modi address a rally in Varanasi city in 2014!
Maybe opposition has similar complaints today. I don't know.
2) Operational: Checking voter rolls, running booths, counting votes
The EC's top officials have almost no direct role here. This is done by those on "election duty," under watch of lakhs of party workers. There is no way to cheat on this. No conspiracy can stay hidden if lakhs of people know the secret.
The only way to interfere with operational part of EC's work is if someone say captures booths. Do you think this is possible in today's smartphone era?
So make accusations if you want against administrative decisions of EC. But stop making a fool of yourself by saying that voter rolls and EVMs are fake.
