Running a pay on delivery e-commerce business in Kenya is difficult because Kenyans are built differently. The competition is fierce because most of the leads will prefer ads that speak their language. The logistics terrain is not structured well, the delivery partners are too busy to take care of your orders. But the numbers looks too good to be ignored, 1 million Kenya shillings in revenue is about $7,724. 1 million naira is $714. You need to sell 400pcs of a kes2,500 product to make this amount in revenue.
There’s something I noticed about one of our meta ads. We average about 1000 link clicks , 400 landing page visits and about 40 purchases. So what happens to the rest of the 600 link clicks? Could it be a case of the landing page not loading fast? Or the pixel over firing? Let’s see if we can optimize more of the link clicks.
What do you notice from this post by @Wizarab10 yesterday? The reason made me delete my Twitter account that year when I came across it at Microsoft.

There's a tool called Sprinklr that some heavy enterprise companies use to assess, in real time, sentiments, mentions, and other metrics regarding their products or their competitors'. In real time.
You don't need to tag them. They see you talking about them. They see you talking about their competitors. They are also profiling you in real time.
When I went through the Sprinkllr Academy, I navigated to my Twitter profile and clicked Delete. 😅
Now, this doesn't mean you should walk on egg shells and not speak your mind, but different organisations have different reasons for tracking you on social media, in real time. They don't need your handle, to make it worse. So, generally speaking, be mindful of what you post across platforms.
@GarethKosiso Most of the moves then were more on beginners Luck. Now that they turned out fairly well, you really have to be strategic about the next one. One can’t use the past to predict the future.
I think people underrate integrating WhatsApp into their marketing especially while selling to Nigerians. Yes, you are sending a lot of traffic to your website optimizing for website sales. You stand to lose some segment of your market if there’s no WhatsApp integration.
The funny thing is that they don’t do this with Temu and other international e-commerce brands. While those brands are popular, there’s a sub niche of people called Personal shoppers that help Nigerians buy from this platforms. Some can argue that its payment method limits. The other factor is ‘Trust’. Temu used creative influencing to change people’s perception of their brand.
