Let's go back to the 90s. The era of Ninja Scroll, pre-Toonami Anime Boom.

When I was 12 years old I saw this movie. One of my early exposures to anime. I saw blood, nudity, cursing, etc and was absolutely floored that there were 'cartoons' like this. This scene right here was nuts to a 12 year old.
