But where do these guys get energy to kill others, maybe I am the only one who takes life that important.
Can you imagine the pain Sydney died in.
RIP Sydney.
While you were busy “building Twitter Uganda” by kissing up to companies and officials, @NinyeTabz and Dr. @SpireJim were actually doing the real work dragging Uganda’s democracy into the light kicking and screaming. They’ve exposed corruption, called out ministerial misconduct, and used memes, receipts, and raw truth to hold power accountable when institutions failed.🤌
That’s how you build actual transparency on this app 😏not by playing defense for ministers with scandals, but by amplifying voices that make the powerful sweat. Tabz and Spire didn’t just grow the platform, they weaponized it for public good, shaping a generation of Ugandans who now demand answers instead of swallowing propaganda.
Your “positive community” talk is just code for silence the critics. Keep that bootlicking energy to yourself. Real democracy dies when people like you defend the indefensible while attacking the ones brave enough to speak. Tabz and Spire built this space’s conscience, you just showed up for the clout….🤌

Subject: Urgent Appeal for Collective Advocacy on the Systemic Challenges Facing Ugandan Content Creators on X
Dear Madam President and Esteemed Members of the Cabinet,
I am writing to you in my capacity as a Ugandan content creator and active X Premium subscriber (@rodrecodings) to formally bring to your attention the critical and persistent barriers that continue to undermine the growth, sustainability, and economic viability of X content creators in Uganda. As the premier collective voice for Ugandans on the platform, UOX is uniquely positioned to champion these issues at the highest levels with the Government of Uganda, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), and X (formerly Twitter) itself.
Ugandan creators have demonstrated remarkable creativity and resilience in building vibrant communities on X. However, structural obstacles have turned what should be a viable career path into an uphill struggle. The following are the most pressing challenges we collectively face:
1. Monetization and Payout Barriers (The Biggest Frustration)
2. High Internet and Data Costs
3. Government Censorship, Surveillance, and Shutdowns
4. Limited Local Opportunities and Economic Realities
Madam President and Honourable Cabinet Members, the time for collective action is now. By championing these issues, UOX can transform the platform experience for thousands of Ugandan creators, foster economic empowerment for the youth, and position Uganda as a competitive digital content hub in East Africa.
I stand ready to collaborate with UOX in any capacity whether through evidence gathering, drafting policy briefs, or participating in advocacy efforts. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your leadership and unwavering commitment to Ugandan creators on X. I look forward to your positive response and to working together toward meaningful change.
Yours sincerely,
Ssemmanda Rodney
