There are not currently enuff BAME museum workers in the system 2 diversify the workforce. Look beyond. Recruit from other sectors. Change ur job roles and JDs. See @SOCLtweet grads. Nurture talent in more diverse specialisms of the workforce eg FOH, finance, IT, security.

I enjoyed engaging young people 16-25 on the streets of Derby. I asked them whats missing in @derbymuseums . We had everything from late night events for youth, Live Bands/Live Music/DJ's, Spoken Word/Poetry, Interactive Quiz's and for more hands on, interactive activities. https://t.co/kysCTJkxVj
