I can't get enough of myth retellings! 'Icarus by K. Ancrum' reimagines the ancient tale beautifully. Check it out: https://t.co/qR79FZTJwj #BookTwitter#Icarus#KAncrum
Just wrapped up Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, The Assassin's Blade, and Heir of Fire! My first impressions? 🤯 Absolutely gripping and full of surprises. Read more in my review here: https://t.co/RJGLFogKXR #ThroneOfGlass#BookReview
Currently reading: The Boy I Love by @WHusseyAuthor. 10 chapters in and I'm already feeling like I need a cry. See you on the other side. #BooksWorthReading#lgbt
I think book is going to be my 13th reason. Part way through and I’m seriously doubting how Medea has survived all those years when she is so stupid. And don’t get me started on Jason…. From the moment Medea met him, he has been a non-stop knob. 😤
And with that, my last book of 2024 is finished. Such a heartwarming story about finding your own way in the world and how sometimes we need to compromise in order to move forward. How to train your dad by Gary Paulsen was the best way to finish 2024.
Now that the business of Christmas is over I can finally settle down to read. Just finished The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. Started reading it with my english class and they loved it so had to finish it before going back to work in the new year. What an adventure to have.
But will someone on the inside finally crack and help Steven get back what he wants the most.... Troy. @its_raining_fenne really did an amazing job with this book. It drew everything together that's been happening to an epic conclusion and that ending.... Had me in tears. (2)
And with that, it's over. The final installement of the Over Emotional trilogy comes to a close. What a book! With Steven and the gang seemingly backed into a corner, Zachary swanning around the country stirring everything up, there seems no hope for the future. (1)
Finished reading this yesterday. I couldn’t put it down. It was so full of powerful women and life that I craved more. Luckily there is more to this series ahead for me to get my teeth into. Juno Dawson certainly put me under a spell.
Sorry I’ve been quiet everyone. Life has kinda gotten very busy the past year or so but I am going to make the effort to get back to doing what I love, reviewing the wonderful books I read.
@JenniferKillick has done it again. Terror Tower is the best Dread Wood book hands down. Club Loser are back at it again when a mysterious creature stirs in the Dread Wood again. When their friends and families are in danger, can they save the day? Amazing stuff!!
