I am a Chartered Accountant (FCA). I qualified with a big four firm and after further experience I came to Banbury in 1987. In 1998 I became a partner.
@FOTC_JH@AintreeRaces@AintreeRaces Totally agree - queued fora long time at a coffee stall in a caravan. Did see one other later on. Agree - where was the Costa? Lots of bars and food outlets with none / few customers but definitely need more coffee stalls.
@kevinblake2011@AtTheRaces Don't understand how having three more handicaps replacing three conditions races is making things better. Isn't level weights racing the pinnacle of the sport? Are the Guineas going to be handicaps on the Flat???
@racingoncourse@GamblingPrince1 I wonder why racecourses don't try to attract older people with the same sort of offers they make for youngsters. I'm sure a coach, drink, food, entry, race card for £15 from an overs 50's housing complex would get takers!
@MCYeeehaaa@BHAHorseracing Agree that for most meetings 30 minutes is enough. At most courses food and drink is expensive. Though would say both Leicester and Hereford are good value. Cheltenham most expensive and poor choice.
@ConnorPound@MCYeeehaaa@BHAHorseracing Cheltenham Festival is 40 minutes. One of my gripes is there should be more food outlets and more choice (and lower prices). At Cheltenham Festival 40 minutes is OK and with the extra space now it could be 35 minutes. Getting food in 40 minutes is tough however.
@ColinMurray@bbc5live Thanks for all your good work Colin. Perhaps a bit sombre but I think this is the song to hear just as the doors are closing behind you "Goodnight Irene". Thanks Derek from Northamptonshire
@ColinMurray@bbc5live Colin - Wipe Out by The Fat Boys which references Wipe Out and The Beach Boys (Not sure you will have The Beach Boys version - try the "LP" "The Beach Boys - Wipe Out" which has it on.). Have you had either artist before? Great memories! Thanks Derek from Northamptonshire.
