@ESPNFC He has to answer yes to that question. It has nothing to do with ego. It isn't him guaranteeing anything. He is national team player. He has to answer yes. That's all. Why you make it out like he's making promises?
Just saw the premiere of Dave Harris's play Incendiary at Woolly Mammoth theatre in Washington DC. It was funny and poignient. Great performances.

Shakespeare's 1st - 4th Folios are on display at the Lilly Library along with Quartos and lots of other versions. Not to mention one of the Gutenberg Bibles! @IULillyLibrary#Shakespeare
Giving a talk on Higher Education Sojourns, Identity Negotiation, and The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Thursday March 23, 2:15 at the annual Northeast Modern Language Association convention #Nemla@nemla.org #NortheastMLA Representing @EnglishGannon
Wonderful resource on Japanese comics titled "Manga: Out of the Box" containing history of manga from 12th century to present, explanatory articles, and much more. I am excited to use this with my students the next time I teach about #manga! https://t.co/CRQtKUPbH4
@NAEmmanuele One possibility is profit margin of grad courses is higher, so colleges can afford to pay more. Another might be that undergrad courses don't require a PhD instructor but grad courses do, hence higher pay. These are just guesses.
While in #NewOrleans for #MELUS2022, I attended the premiere of the indie film Phony, directed by @David_Bush. Very meta film, fun, and pointed commentary on gendered expectations, self presentation, and deception in (online) dating. Rent on Amazon Prime. https://t.co/vAcnb0EyA4
@EnglishGannon It should be a great panel. Anyone interested in my presentation should let me know. Maybe I can give a lunchtime talk on campus later this semester.
This Friday, March 25, I am presenting the paper "Teju Cole's Open City as National Allegory" at MELUS 2022--Awakenings, Reckonings, and Multi-Ethnic Literature. Please check out my talk if you're attending the event! @MELUS2022 @MELUSNOLA2022 @HalloranVivian @EnglishIUB
Thank you for reminding us, @NPRinskeep, of what the #Debates2020 were supposed to be about. Students should be assigned to watch presidential debates from the 1980s and 1990s to see the difference. More than ever, the USA needs #civics classes in the K-12 curriculum.
People say it was awful. But return to these basic questions. Biden said if he wins, he’ll keep the ACA, add a public option, support Roe v Wade, enact a climate change plan. Trump defended his record and attacked Hunter Biden, but didn’t really say what he’d do if re-elected.
