Thoughts on the Transfer Portal:
1) Student-athletes have always been able to transfer
2) A few leaving any given team in a year was normal
3) If a school has over 10 entering the portal in a year, that's a red flag (coaches, culture, school, etc)

Be professional during the recruiting process. Use spell check & proper grammar. If a coach reaches out to you, respond. If you're not interested, tell them.

If a coach doesn't act professionally, that should tell you everything.

- Academic Programs
- Team Culture
- Style of Play (offense/defense/special teams)
- Location

If you don't know amount of aid or the coach won't tell you, it's not an offer. It's just recruiting.
