This clip encapsulates the reality of college football:
1. Athletes constantly being contacted by "representatives".
2. Rosters turning over every year.
3. Coaches leaving college coaching.
4. Never talking about the student's education/major.
5. Only 2% will ever play pro.

Thoughts on the Transfer Portal:
1) Student-athletes have always been able to transfer
2) A few leaving any given team in a year was normal
3) If a school has over 10 entering the portal in a year, that's a red flag (coaches, culture, school, etc)
Recruits, do your research.

Ali Mohamed has been through a lot. Yet he keeps going, leaning on the strength of a family that has endured hardship as a matter of course and emerged stronger. Thanks very much to @Ali_Mo268 for being so open and sharing so much about his life.

One last bit of advice to recruits:
Be professional during the recruiting process. Use spell check & proper grammar. If a coach reaches out to you, respond. If you're not interested, tell them.
If a coach doesn't act professionally, that should tell you everything.

Final thoughts on scholarship offer education...
#5: An offer is great, if it's real. But you need to research how YOU fit in these areas:
- Academic Programs
- Team Culture
- Style of Play (offense/defense/special teams)
- Location
Find where you FIT!

Installment 4 of continuing scholarship offer education...
#4: If you received an offer, make sure you ask:
- how many are being recruited at position
- how many have been offered at position
- amount of aid
You need to see how they value YOU!

Part 3 of continuing scholarship offer education...
#3: If you received an offer with a deadline, ask why.
Unfortunately, a lot of coaches are just trying to fill a commit list. If they really want YOU, they will wait until you're ready. Signing day is the deadline.

Continuing scholarship offer education...
#2: If you have received an offer, do you know how much athletic aid you will be receiving?
If you don't know amount of aid or the coach won't tell you, it's not an offer. It's just recruiting.

Recruits, it's time again for scholarship offer education.
#1: If the head coach didn't offer you, ask why!
If you are important enough to the program to be offered a scholarship, you should be important enough to hear it from the head coach.
