@DoctorLemma Started my first year teaching at this school in mcdowell county. Kids brought in rifles for PE target practice and it was against the state law to not paddle kids. I didn’t last long there. Never used the paddle but had to take receive a paddle or not be allowed to teach.
@PrincipalProj@jcae2008 For thanksgiving/gratitude week my middle school students individually made cards for the cafeteria workers, the cleaning staff and the security guards and delivered them during their study hall. it was rewarding for both the recipient and students.
