My favourite question is Why?

I still believe that change is that moment of freedom when anything is possible.

WTF, Finishing Second Last Never Felt So Good!

To help process the emotions and having some time on my hands I set out to write that journal in retrospect. The race was brutal and took me to dark places. https://t.co/G1irPiAqH7

Traveling in Andorra and I installed the @AndorraTelecom app and used it to purchase an eSIM. It took my payment and send me several emails confirming but never sent me the eSIM. Now I see on the website they eSIM activation is not available yet they happily sold me one.

That's the last time I will come to @babylonstoren . We drove here to visit the shop and were told we have to buy a membership just to get access to spend money in their shop. That is a rip-off of the finest order, and I refuse to pay for the privilege to pay them more!

My post on X resulted in some quick action. It to sad that it had to come to this as up until recently we have been very happy with Easy Equities. At least they finally resolved the problem and I was able to request a withdrawal. If the message is correct it will be done today.

[Derek Hughes @DerekHughes1705]

I gave @EasyEquities fair warning that if they did not process the withdrawl of my funds I would be forced to go public on social media. Despiste numerous requests over the past month I have been unable to withdraw any funds from my account. This is a very BIG RED FLAG.

[Derek Hughes @DerekHughes1705]

@EasyEquities I have DM'ed as requested. I hope this results in a quick resolution and will report back to the public on the outcome in due course.

@TicketmasterZA Is there a problem on your system. I login and the ticket for the Sevens that was there last night does not show. And my wife cannot even login and the password reset is not working. We are supposed to be at the rugby already! Please help urgently!

Brief trip back into Covid data today:

Promising news from South Africa, where the BA.4 / BA.5 variant wave has passed quietly, with high levels of immunity meaning this wave has had little impact on rates of severe illness or death
