🎯🎯🎯Washington is showing where it wants strategic capital to go.
That’s useful information. It is NOT a buy signal.
Since 2025, the U.S. and its partners have backed chips, nuclear power and critical manufacturing with equity, grants, loans and warrants.
1. $INTC — Intel
Latest quote: $92.03 (+2.4%).
The U.S. bought roughly 9.9% of Intel for $8.9B at $20.47 per share.
That position is now worth more than 4x the entry price.
The rest of the list is in the replies.
6. $GFS — GlobalFoundries
Latest quote: $46.11 (-1.2%).
Commerce finalized a $375M quantum R&D grant, with the government receiving roughly 9.9M shares at $37.85.
Strategic support is real.
But quantum revenue is still a future story, not next quarter’s earnings.
5. $GEV — GE Vernova
Latest quote: $908.44 (-1.4%).
The U.S.-Japan framework includes up to $40B for BWRX-300 small modular reactors in Tennessee and Alabama, targeting roughly 3 GW.
Big nuclear theme. Very long timeline.
4. $CCJ — Cameco
Latest quote: $80.70 (-1.0%).
Cameco co-owns Westinghouse, which is tied to an $80B U.S. reactor plan.
The DOE also offered up to $17.5B in conditional loans for equipment supporting up to 10 AP1000 reactors.
Long-duration catalyst. Permits and construction timelines matter more than the headline.
3. $WOLF — Wolfspeed
Latest quote: $24.14 (+3.9%).
The Pentagon offered up to $1.5B in 30-year financing, with warrants for up to 7.5% if the deal closes.
That can buy the company time, but it doesn’t erase the balance-sheet risk.
Conditional funding plus dilution means smaller size and more patience.
2. $VST — Vistra
Latest quote: $149.70 (-1.6%).
The DOE announced a conditional commitment of up to $4.2B to upgrade nuclear plants in Ohio and Pennsylvania, preserving roughly 4 GW and adding 433 MW.
The AI power thesis is real.
The word “conditional” matters.

🎯🎯Canada’s September CPI came in at 3.1% YoY, up from 3.0% in August but below the 3.2% consensus.
BUT… A BIG BUT. Gasoline jumped 27.8%, while CPI excluding gasoline was 2.2% and groceries slowed to 1.7%. That makes this look more energy-driven than broad-based.
The TSX was down roughly 0.7% even as the loonie firmed. Banks and REITs may stay rate-sensitive, while energy stocks could read the fuel shock differently. The Bank of Canada has a tough call: look through the spike, or worry it sticks?

💥💥CANADA CPI IS NEXT. GOLD TRADERS, WATCH THE REACTION.
Today, 8:30 a.m. ET:
• September CPI forecast: 3.2% YoY
• Previous: 3.0%
• Spot gold: ~$4,173/oz at 7:09 a.m. ET
The key question: Is this another energy-driven bump, or is inflation spreading? I’m watching CPI-trim and CPI-median for clues.
My gold playbook:
HOTTER → A firmer Canadian dollar could pressure CAD-priced gold, all else equal.
COOLER → A weaker Canadian dollar could support CAD-priced gold.
For XAU/USD, Canada’s CPI is a secondary catalyst. A softer U.S. dollar and lower U.S. real yields would support gold; rising yields could cap the bounce.

@JordanBoo345223@oglincolnbeats@VuoriTrading Fair question—I’m definitely a real person. I’m just trying to keep up with a lot of messages, so my replies may come across a little too organized.
