@juliusmarchi Best decision we ever made. Build a duplex 4 years ago- monthly burn rate went down $600 for a nicer bigger place. Have had great tenants so far, feels like a no brainer IMO
@theficouple $200k is a great income but how at 28 years old do you build $750k net worth? Thatโs most likely 6 years of full time work, $1.2 mil gross income over that time and they have $750k? Either exceptional returns or inheritance?
@theficouple I can see the argument, but when you do a side by side comparison it breaks down. Someone renting with $20k in savings vs someone with $300k equity in there house and $20k in savings are very different. Just as a bank
@theficouple I understand this but the big win is the equity growth and principal down. It also matters the age of a unit, newer units have less capex risk. Vacancies are a true concern, need to know your market with that. But if it cash flows $690/mo with PITI covered thatโs a solid start.
