@elonmusk Buy New World from Amazon and compete, already has a name and decent base to build a good mmo from and get you into the industry if you're looking to. Amazon just did a piss poor job early on especially with lumberyard being so deep in tech debt.

@re3mr There is an enormous amount of games that support this not just the ones listed.

Ie wow classic fresh servers, nobody plays the unwiped realms. New world did a couple and had huge numbers on fresh.

Joining a game late inherently feels less worth the grind, being so behind.

@noosetime @nikgeneburn ECS didn't get full support on unity till like 2022 to 2023, so no they didn't. Would probably be a bitch of a time to rewrite the game to use it at this point.

@63skies_ @sseemour CSGO had overwatch for over 10 years though, still a valid statement. It didn't work in go cus of cheaters/bot makers spamming results and using it to build out cheats.

@thebunfi @GloriousE1 @nikgeneburn I'd think they're punished pretty heavily already imo. But the biggest change they could do for that is being able to be on painkillers from start to end of raid. Making people pk only pre fight/sketchy area would fix a lot of that.

@GloriousE1 @nikgeneburn Had the same thought, making a slight rustling sound if someone sits still for 10, 15 or more seconds. Almost as if they are uncomfortable sitting in one spot. Make it about as loud as ADS sound.
Won't kill the playstyle, but it'd make it harder to sit in a random room all raid.

@BarryBucketz Some raids it's insanely smooth others it feels like shit. Not sure why but I believe it might be streaming on discord causing it.

Space theme is definitely a good choice for a niche, not many good space games out there imo.

@sseemour @UndeadEssenceTV They could easily setup 1 or 2 server selections on the launcher per region that have higher ping caps and lock all the rest to the old 150 to 180 area. Let them all have their fun but most people probably don't want to fight them.
