@blockChief@mert What’s the need for crypto/wallets after they’re abstracted away?
Technologically many services would be fine/faster if centralized (what ppl are used to).
At the core of it, ppl currently don’t care about ownership enough. The benefits are unclear vs the responsibilities.
@WealthGathers I don’t think technology will ever change human relationship fundamentals. We will always have celebs and influential people, the only thing that changes is the means of interaction.
@mert Shoot I came across something yesterday when in a rabbit hole… I forget what it was but they were able to port over EVM contracts to Solana/Rust. When I find I’ll link here
@thehasheddude@armaniferrante@phantom@ethereum@MagicEden Decentralizing their chains seems in line with a decentralized ethos. It may not be what their original core users care for — but it doesn’t hurt, onboards a new user base, increases revenue, and allows apps to pivot if needed given market uncertainty
@LimitlessXBT The vets have been taking beating and learning these exact lessons many cycles ago.
It sucks to see new entrants have to go through the same growing pains.
