A CHILDREN'S Health Ireland
(#CHI) whistleblower has claimed
in a protected disclosure to the
Irish Mail on Sunday that surgeons
started operations on children
without the help of vital X-rays to
guide them.

The former CHI employee outlined in detail three shocking incidents at CHI's Temple Street and Crumlin hospitals where medics, while performing surgeries - on children and, in one instance, a pregnant woman, were so desperate to look at scans and X-rays they allegedly had no option but to summon IT workers into the theatre mid-way through operations. -Valerie Hanley
