Appreciate that everyone has to make money but would be good to have a reliable outlet for Wednesday news without all this paywall stuff. I’m not paying for loads of George Smith articles going round the houses to say nothing but would like someone who knows things.
@footballheaven I guess most people’s view is that he is a good, dignified man who has done his best but is an assistant not a manager. Then the question is who else is there, can we afford them, can we afford to get rid of HP. Is there time for someone else to come in & do the huge re-build
@benswfc15 Just hope he doesn’t do the same as Liam Shaw. Growing up as a Wednesday fan, do you back yourself and make your name in L1 or take immediate financial security (probably for life) somewhere else
Up at 6am this morning not a cloud in the sky suddenly five planes fly over Sheffield leaving trailing lines that spread out forming clouds Ed Milliband at work
If some of his loan signings are anything to go by then absolutely he shouldn’t be allowed to be the one rebuilding the team in League 1. Complete load of Balearic’s 😊 #swfc
@martynware Jury not out………manager with a free hit all season has failed miserably. Majorca error to keep him, let him sign a load of players, gets sacked early doors and we’re left with them again. Get rid of all after next Saturday please👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔵⚪️
@martynware I’d keep Ademerola and bring Heskey
back if we can (he’s still a young boy). Not sure on the basis for keeping Cooper with his age and the fact he’s injured every time he comes into contact with grass for us. Manager and coaching staff need to go (if we can afford it).
The question over Pederson is one of many early tests for the new owners. Appoint a nice guy & dignified loser or have the ruthlessness to make the tough decisions from day one.
As I’ve said before, we need ruthless owners who have crystal clear plans and aren’t afraid to upset people in pursuit of success. Trying to appease is a fool’s errand.
My opinion (for what it’s worth): we need a clean break with a new manager and leave ex players in the past. No matter how much they have kept up morale or how good they have been previously #swfc
Let’s all remember that around 75% of money owed is to Dejphon Chansiri. So the @efl position is to reward the person that their regulations failed to ban in time and punish the victims of his crimes #swfc
Business books say listening to staff is the key to success. It isn’t. Everyone will have different opinions & you can’t go in different directions at once You need strong management with their own ideas who act in the best interests & are prepared to be unpopular #swfc
