Never underestimate the healing power of green grass ☘️and sunshine ☀️ for a sick, hospitalized horse. This TB has a rare bacterial endocarditis of his heart valve but is really responding to medical therapy and loved this treat of a morning outside (despite the IV catheter 👩🏼‍⚕️ )

Even for severe,salvage-type orthopedic injuries,minimally-invasive surgery has become commonplace in vet med.This TB mare had a terribly comminuted/displaced slab fx of her knee yesterday-arthroscopic repair thru tiny incisions has resulted in a very comfortable ‘now-broodmare’

Great example of preventative value of new imaging 👀 options used in collaboration in equine vet med-we sent this TB colt to @NewBoltonCenter for robot CT imaging and they found very rare early stress fx in pastern which we then repaired with single screw 🙌🏻#teamwork 🐎
