What a difference a day makes! From 😎 to 🥶. The temperature difference from 87° at Richmond yesterday at 3 pm versus 32° today at 3 pm. Unofficially, the 55° 24-hour temperature difference is the the highest we can find since 1948. 1978 (51°) and 2014 (50°) came closest.

🔥 Richmond: 85° (Old: 81°, 2006)
🔥 Norfolk: 83° (Old: 81°, 2016)
🔥 Salisbury: 83° (Old: 77°, 2006)
🔥 Elizabeth City: 82° (Tied 2016)

Record highs will again be in jeopardy tomorrow.
