Picking at the 1.04 in the 2026 #DHFC draft is Ethan.

In his 7 years in the #DHFC, he has an all time record of 44-52. He has managed to make the playoffs every year over the last 4 years, and won the championship in 2022.

Last year Ethan finished his season with an 8-6 record, which was good enough to put him in 5th place. However, he lost in the first round of playoffs to Ed.

In 2025 he picked from the 1.08, and his draft was pretty solid on paper.

Looking back, this was a really strong draft. However injuries and poor offensive play really capped the ceiling on Ethan’s team.
Between these 6 picks, they missed over 30 games combined. With elite players like Jayden Daniels, Garrett Wilson, Drake London and Tucker Kraft being the bulk of those missed games. The only 2 players Ethan could rely on every week were Ashton Jeanty and Devonta Smith, who both suffered from poor offensive play in 2025.

Despite this, Ethan was still able to start his season with a 6-2 record. But when week 8 ended, Ethan was tired of seeing all the injured players on his team, so he knew he needed to make a major change. He ended up making a block buster trade with Jake just after the week 9 Thursday Night Football game.

After this trade, Ethan went 2-4 in his remaining games, averaging 106.98 points a game. Before this trade, his team was 6-2 and averaging 122.91 a game. Although, the injuries contributed much more to this change than the trade did.

Ethans looking for his 5th straight playoff appearance. He has a reputation of drafting strongly and making carefully thought out trades during the season. I expect this trend to continue as he looks to tie the record of most playoff appearances in a row (5)

Picking at the 1.03 in the 2026 #DHFC draft is Chuck.

In his 7 years in the #DHFC, Chuck has an all time record of 45-51, with an average finish of 7th place. He has made the playoffs 5 times and has a playoff record of 1-4, and is still looking for his first championship appearance.

After finishing in last place in 2024 with a record of 2-12, Chuck slightly bounced back in 2025 finishing the season with a 5-9 record which put him in 9th place, just missing the playoffs.

Chuck picked at the 1.05 in 2025, and he started his draft very strongly, selecting:

How did a team with this core miss the playoffs? Well, a series of unfortunate events really derailed Chucks team.

1. Chuck started the season 1-2, and after losing 12 games the previous season (making him 3-14 in his last 17 games), he was quick to hit the panic button. He was tired of losing.

2. The day after week 3 ended, Chuck and James made a blockbuster trade:

- Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- Derrick Henry
- Zach Charbonnet

3. 5 days later, Malik Nabers, the biggest asset Chuck received in the blockbuster deal, tore his ACL.

4. Then the next day, Chucks 3rd round pick, Tyreek Hill, ALSO TEARS HIS ACL. However, Chuck wasn’t worried in the slightest bit. He went 3-0 across the next 3 weeks, despite the brutal losses of his 2 fantastic WRs.

4. Looking to bounce back from his first loss after his 3W streak, Chuck entered Week 8 with confidence. That was until Cam Skattebo broke his ankle, ending his season.

5. Now with a 4-4 record and a decimated team, Chuck saw his championship window closing. Despite all the injuries, he won in week 9, but he still wasn’t confident with the team he had…

6. Chuck made another blockbuster move, this time with Jake:

7. Chuck went on to lose the remainder of his games, going 0-5 to end the season.

After coming in last in 2024, then following it up with such a tragic 2025, I know Chuck is going to be prepared for 2026. I know he’s going to do everything he can to ensure he doesn’t have to live through another losing season. I think he’s got a real good chance at making the playoffs for the first time since 2023.

Picking at the 1.02 in the 2026 #DHFC draft is James, the reigning champion.

In his 7 years in the #DHFC, James has an all time record of 55-41, with an average finish of 4th place. He’s made the playoffs 6 times and competed in 3 championships, winning 2 of them.

Last year, James had a 10-4 record, and beat Dylan in the championship by a final score of 148.12-125.08, earning James his 2nd championship in league history, the only team to do so.

James picked at the 1.12 in 2025, and decided to double up on WRs at the 1-2 turn, taking both Malik Nabers and Puka Nacua. He followed these picks up with

James started his draft strong, but he certainly didn’t let that hold him back from building an even stronger team throughout the season.

At the end of week 1, Jake dropped Cam Skattebo. James put in a $1 waiver claim for Skattebo which surprisingly was enough to land the rookie RB.

Just before week 4 started, James and Chuck completed one of the most lopsided trades in league history:

- Chuba Hubbard

After this trade, James went 7-3 in his remaining regular season games. Meanwhile Chuck saw Malik Nabers tear his ACL only a couple days after the trade, then saw Cam Skattebo break his ankle a few weeks later. Needless to say this trade turned James from a contender to the favorite.

This year James will be picking from the 1.02, most likely landing either Jahmyr Gibbs or Bijan Robinson. In 2024, James took Jahmyr Gibbs at the 1-2 turn after he took Saquon Barkley, so I have a feeling James would prefer Gibbs, but I know he’ll be thrilled to start his draft with either one of Robinson or Gibbs.

After his first championship win in 2019, James followed that up with another championship appearance in 2020. Although he lost in that appearance, the fact that he was only 1 game away from winning back to back championships was enough to put the league on notice. He will likely be the opponent that many teams circle on their calendar, as everyone wants to take down the champion and prevent him from potentially winning back to back championships.

Fun Fact: James has had the last pick in 5 out of his 7 #DHFC drafts. This will be his 2nd time picking inside the top 3.

It’ll be interesting to see how James tries to build yet another championship caliber team this year, while over half the league tries to prevent it from happening.

Picking at the 1.01 in the 2026 #DHFC draft is Nick.

In his 7 years in the #DHFC, Nick has an all time record of 50-46, with an average finish of 6th place. He’s made the playoffs 5 times and competed in 2 championships, but unfortunately did not prevail in either.

Last year, Nick finished in 7th place with a 7–7 record, then lost to Gabe in round 1 of the playoffs by 0.90 points, the final score being 125.9 to 125.0. However, his team had the potential to go much farther. If I could describe his season in 2 words, it would be - Injury riddled.

In 2025, Nicks first 6 picks were:
1.09 Nico Collins
2.04 De’Von Achane
3.09 Omarion Hampton
4.04 Joe Burrow
5.09 Zay Flowers
6.04 George Pickens

This may have been the strongest first 6 picks in league history. However, injuries held him back from a potential 3rd championship appearance, as his top 6 picks missed a combined 20 games.

If Nick can replicate a draft like this in 2026, I think he has a very strong chance to win his first championship, and finally get his name on the trophy.

This year, Nick will be drafting from the 1.01, guaranteeing him to land one of Jahmyr Gibbs or Bijan Robinson.
Fun Fact: This would be Nicks first time drafting a RB in the first round since 2022 when he drafted Dalvin Cook at the 1.12.

@23JJohnson23 He didn’t have 1st round production. People will say he lacked the production since he was playing behind Smith, but is that a valid enough excuse to take him 4th overall? If he didn’t go to OSU or play behind Smith, I doubt he would’ve been the first WR off the board
