For 7 summers, I’ve taught conducting + led a choral ensemble at @TeachersCollege. Today we ended class with “Bach (Again) Come Sweet Death” in the stairwell. Just a little joy in the echo. 🎶 #choraleducation#choirlife#TCMusicEd
The KU Choirs are hard at work preparing for our first concert of the season. From Mozart’s Regina Coeli and Franck’s Psalm 150 to Guillaume’s Wipip!!! and Dett’s Listen to the Lambs, this will be an amazing performance! 🎶#KutztownUniversity#ChoirConcert#ChoralMusic#KUChoirs

Today, the Albright College Music Department hosted its Inaugural Choral Festival. What an experience! Thank you to the local high school choral directors and their students who participated—also, a big thank you to my wonderful colleague, Jeff Lentz.
I look forward to speaking at the Fall Forum on “Music and Liturgy,” by the Diocese of Pennsylvania History Committee on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chestnut Hill. My session is titled “Lift Every Voice and Sing: Going Beyond the LEVAS Hymnal.”
The Albright College Chamber Singers performed yesterday for the Berks County Intermediate Unit, In-Service for music teachers. They also assisted me in my presentation, “Communicating Beautiful Singing as a Choral Conductor.”
