@NYSports29 Love these Homer announcers. They go crazy because it lands fair after crossing the bag. It may well be a fair ball, but landing fair after crossing the bag is irrelevant. If was foul before the bag, so the only thing that matters is where it CROSSED the bag.

@ChadMoriyama Loved Vin Scully, but that was a terrible explanation. The run counted because the third out was made AFTER Ethier crossed the plate. Since the second baseman turned it into a tag play, the run counts. It really is a stupid rule, but it happens.
