John Wasnick went 3-4 with a double and 4 RBIs. Cason Long and Mason Fridley each added 2 hits. Long worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win for DA.

Roman Fridley & Anthony Sacco each had 2 hits including a double in the first game. Max Doherty collected 3 hits and 2 RBIs in the second.

Derry hosts Greensburg Salem Thursday.

The Trojans lose a pair of games to Deer Lakes 9-8 and 9-2. Roman Fridley collected two hits, including a double, drove in a run and scored a run in game one. Cason Long went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored in the second game.

Derry scores 3 runs in the top of the 9th inning for the win. Collin Barkley had 2 hits, including a double, and 2 RBIs. Cason Long tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings of relief allowing just one hit and 7 K’s.

DA (2-1) hosts East Allegheny Tues.
