I believe in BlueCo but this Strasbourg project is weird. I don't like it. One mistake they will be relegated.

I will explain why:

It's obvious they want to use Strasbourg to develop players, which means they will likely sell for profit without holding back.

The problem is, you can't keep playing and selling youngsters and survive in top flight, without adequate experienced players in the squad. So far, they are yet to buy a player over 25.

Since last summer, they have been losing their experienced players, they are going to lose more this summer and these experienced players are the key to the project. It's easy to develop youngsters who are playing among leaders and key experienced players, who will guide and teach them how to be pros.

Like Girona, they need a core of experienced players [must not be elite players] especially in defence to form the foundation that will carry the youngsters.

Key thing to remember here is that they are buying 2nd or 3rd grade youngsters for Strasbourg unlike Chelsea where they are buying youngsters with world class potentials.

Imagine youngsters without much quality and lacking experience in the same starting XI. That's where it's heading and it's not a good idea.

I expect them to do what Girona did with experienced core or what Fabregas is doing at Como. When you lack quality, at least you need experience.

I saw Perea for 20 minutes and he looked like he will need a bit of time to settle and understand the rhythm of European football and they don't have someone to play while he does that. It's the same in most departments.

I mean, it doesn’t hurt to get a few experienced free transfers in to help these youngsters.

Gameiro will be missed upfront. The guy that helped when Emegha wasn't on it last season. They are about to sell their captain Guilbert and Perrin could follow.

They will be lucky to avoid relegation this season if that happens. It's not looking good.
