From one Derry Girl to another I was immensely honoured and proud to confer the Freedom of our City on Lisa McGee this evening
I am so delighted that we have acknowledged her remarkable career that has seen her create and produce a wide range of acclaimed TV and film material

This afternoon, @LisaMMcGee will receive the Freedom of the City of Derry, joining the ranks of a very limited number of people, including John Hume.
We’re all incredibly proud of her and the work she has done.
