Official #Twitter of beautiful & progressive ONE Derwood in new @MontgomeryCoMD #District7 @dawn_luedtke, empowering & advancing advocacy RT & ❤️s ≠ endorsement
.🎉 Great news @dawn_luedtke & certainly *thank YOU* for your own enthusiastic support & continued appreciation of community perseverance & advocacy over the years to achieve this important benchmark! 👍
Today, the @MoCoCouncilMD approved the next step in relocating most of the buses at the Crabbs Branch Bus Depot to make way for long envisioned park, housing, and community-serving retail.
Proud of the Derwood/Shady Grove community for their perseverance and advocacy.
@montgomeryplans Sure do, which is why community advocacy and expectations persist to get your own languishing Shady Gove Sector Plan, with all of its promised Third Places, finally done https://t.co/xjxwhMfpl8 👍
.@311MC311 Down crosswalk signal at the intersection of Redland Road and 370 Metro Access Road. Please repair asap for sake of public safety. Thank you.
Excellent kick-off community meeting on the future of Jeremiah Park and the MCPS Bus Depot.
Community members who have long been waiting for progress on the Bus Depot were clear: We need adequate park space, neighborhood-serving retail, and safe walking/biking options.
See you tonight! 🗓️
This is an important opportunity to shape the Bus Depot site into the mixed-use, walkable, community space the County has long promised and envisioned.
.🚨REMINDER! @MCDOTNow has published draft revised Exec Reg on speed humps & it is available to view for public comment until 4/30 https://t.co/nBhufRapau Send your comments via email to [email protected] Please RT @actfortransit @ModeratelyMoco @MoCo360Media Thx!
@montgomeryplans@SartoriPlans@montgomeryplans@SartoriPlans Still waiting & wondering why your department is not getting behind publicizing this plan involving a plan you oversee. Glad to see your great Arbor Day post but let’s stay focused shall we?
@montgomeryplans Polite reminder @SartoriPlans that the Shady Grove Sector Plan is your plan too. We expect you to own it equitably along with all your other plans & all the other County units involved in getting it finally done. Why no tweets about it?
@MCDOTNow@MontgomeryCoMD@Rockville411 To be very clear, this petition will remain open for additional voter signatures until the job is done which many now understand is years from now, a timeline reflecting persistent failed collaborative leadership by our electeds, appointeds & collaboration by civil service
@MCDOTNow@MontgomeryCoMD@Rockville411 We join in encouraging community participation even as we point out for the public record that this plan falls short of the clearly stated expectations of 860+ voters who have been demanding outright relocation for years https://t.co/woIPjnmpmx
