@JohnBaker_Leeds If someone has an imminent life threatening situation in a medical hospital they are treated by the most experienced clinicians. In mental health a patient in clinical crises is left with a inexperienced 19 year old bank staff. Why does this occur ?

@NMPsychologist whistleblew and faced malicious complaints by managers. The trust made her face a humiliating investigation where she was exonerated. She was criticised by NHS managers for putting patient and staff safety above the contract. She left the clinical post she loved.

@James_Treadwell @NotThatBigIan On panorama families were upset that she was being gleeful of their pain throughout the trial. Turning it into a circus with the perpetrator forced into court in chains or gags etc takes the attention off the victims and is only meeting needs of people beying for blood.

There is a high risk that if Ms Letby was present she may access sadistic pleasure and power from witnessing the suffering she created. Is that what you want ?

To create a circus where the perpetrator is the centre of attention (chained and gagged…) is about needs of the public and disrespectful to the victims

For the victims families to read out impact statements to someone who could not care less and may experience sadistic pleasure is traumatic. Is it worth it ?

@JDaviesPhD I used F2SO to report incidents of abuse and neglect in my trust. I was medically suspended (despite the OH physician stating my fitness)faced ridiculous accusations. Was offered MH support and trust psyc wanted to prescribe a combo of AD. I refused his offer

@peter__duffy @ShaunLintern I followed the process reporting to trust board ,freedom to speak out, CQC, coroner rather than investigating my concerns I was subject to ridiculous accusation and interviewed by police before being exonerated. I eventually went to the BBC. Now 63 suicides are being reviewed

@BarristerSecret If she killed to feel powerful or for sadistic pleasure then listening to the pain of the victims families will perpetuate both her sense of pleasure and power. It’s a delusion to think that her presence on the court is going to be experienced as punishment.

It’s the mistake of governments to medicalise issues relating to poor mental health. Imagine using the same research methodology in researching efficiency in Aeroplanes and Buses ?

@JDaviesPhD In the UK “ psychotherapy” is often prescribed and dispensed by people without a mental health qualification. Imagine the furore if anyone could open a pharmacy and dispense medicine without a medical qualification. Strict regulation is essential to prevent iatrogenic outcomes.
