I had problem of screen freezing and the laptop was shutting down in between. I tried to get help online and through telephone, nothing worked. Today went to a service center they said you'll have to increase RAM as 4 GB RAM is not enough.

I am not even using any heavy applications in the laptop, my work is just based on MS word and MS excel. Please suggest if the RAM upgrade is really needed for this @HP @HPIndia

@HPIndia My laptop freezes in between. This happens once or twice in two days. Also, I happen to have Blue screen error most of the time, and then the laptop goes into Restart loop. The laptop doesn't restart only, it again processes for restart.

One time on the phone also one representative said that due to RAM issue this is happening. Now, if people face this issue in all the 4 GB laptops, then why to make this types of laptops only?
My problem is still there, I'm not getting any solution. @HP
