This US Atty should be punished. Firing isn't enough. These types of deep staters pull this, then find sweet gigs once they're outed. Surely, something can be done that shifts the risk-reward balance.

Obviously prosecution is preferred, but not always possible. Maybe the process is the punishment? Thoroughly investigate? Run up the legal fees? They do it to us. Investigate the firms/schools that offer them jobs? Just spitballing, but something needs to be done.

-did nothing for 8 months
-only managed to subpoena the "vital" witness last week

It’s essential that more people see news stories like this. They need to understand that foreigners cannot pillage this country with total impunity.
