The official Twitter account of the Desert of Maine, a natural wonder from the last ice age and a nearly 100 year old roadside attraction in Freeport Maine.
Hey @googlemaps, we need some help! You have two listings for the "Desert of Maine" as a "Natural Feature" so people are coming here thinking it is free. Unfortunately, it's not. This is a privately-owned business and we would greatly appreciate it if you would remove them! Thx
@WattmanWorld You make it sound so easy. We tried, but after many attempts over a few weeks, we gave up. We wanted to buy a Grand Express for the Desert of Maine, but short of driving to your headquarters we didn't know how to get someone to call us back, so we went with another vendor. :(
Dear @PressHerald, Why does it cost significantly _more_ to subscribe for ~1 year vs. ~3 months? i.e. why disincentivize longer subscriptions?

Overhead at the threshold of the entrance to the Desert, our newest 2 yr old member to his 4 yr old brother, "It's NOT scary" as if trying convince himself that the Desert of Maine is not as terrifying as it's cracked up to be. π (He was all smiles when he came back)
