Dear @NationalPro I chose to rent from you 5x week for the convenience of picking my car and driving off. When will these locations where I have to wait in line finally stop?
The UAE and Somaliland share more than cooperation.
It’s a relationship built on trust, investment, and a shared belief in stability and opportunity.
Strong partnerships aren’t announced… They’re proven over time
@DrAliAlameri These Emiraties are the same people who danced with Israelis when Muslims were being slaughtered in Gaza and they want to talk about protecting Society. Everyone should send their Lannat on UAE
Of all the silly controversies that @GregAbbott_TX has manufactured about Muslims over the past year, the airport washing station outrage might be the most ridiculous. And hypocritical.
Keep in mind that Governor Abbott is currently trying to force K-12 students in Texas public schools to read (his preferred version of) the Bible and require teachers to post the Ten Commandments (that some prominent politicians routinely ignore) in every classroom.
Unlike those unconstitutional attempts to favor one religion and impose it on schoolchildren, the washing station at DFW Airport would be a universally accessible and perfectly legal amenity. Washing stations already exist at various airports and anyone can use them. They are no different than the interfaith prayer rooms or toilet bidets found at airports around the world. Muslim travelers may use them most often, but they are open to all.
Instead of wasting taxpayer resources on this latest anti-Muslim political stunt, Governor Abbott should focus on the state’s real problems under his leadership, from harmful data centers to school shootings to economic inequality to the erosion of religious freedom.
