Working on an app icon for my personal project.🫧
I need honest feedback on Which one communicates a straightforward, no nonsense approach better?
A, B, C, or D?
I’ve redesigned 50+ mobile app landing page, unlocking 30 - 100% increase in mobile app downloads.
There's one design element high-growth companies use that you don't.
You can implement it in 48 hours without any code:
It's a QR code.
And I'll tell you why it would increase your conversion below:
- Easy Access: Scan and download directly, bypassing the app store search.
- Fewer Steps: Reduces friction from 7-9 steps to just 3.
- Lower Drop-off: Simplified process keeps users engaged.
- No ASO Needed: Avoids reliance on app store rankings.
- Ads in App/Play store: your competitors can't steal your users by running ads using your keywords. Saving you money and increasing conversion.
- Cross-Device: Converts desktop visitors to mobile users easily.
Find a way to implement this and watch conversion increase.

- Removed the “featured on” Logos (98% of users don't care)
- Added social proof.
- Cleaner and more aligned Interface.
- Added a QR code for desktop vistors only.
Why:
- Reducing the friction from 7-9 steps before downloading the app to only 3 steps. (scan, click the link, and download)
- With this, you don't have to worry about ASO or an Ad ranking with your keywords.
I sat in front of my laptop, heart racing, staring at the "Deactivate Account" button.
My "personal" brand felt like a cage, and it was time to break free.
But what if this leap turned into a nosedive?
this is how I got here:
@TheSebasHidalgo I'm glad I never met a person like that, and I hope I never will.
I will recommend everyone to start learning skills and making money online. I think having a personal brand is one of the most powerful things in today's age.
But hating on people who work "normal" jobs is crazy.
@TheSebasHidalgo This is such a simple but powerful concept I love it.
I know the feeling of undervaluing oneself because I thought people knew stuff I knew haha.
