In the heart of Cap-Haïtien, the commercial activity related to sugarcane is quite evident. Merchants unfold their carts loaded with freshly cut sugarcane. These craftsmen skillfully wield their machetes.

After classes, the streets come alive with the energy of students pouring out of schools in large numbers.👧🏽 Schoolchildren, wearing their colorful school uniforms, spill out into the streets, creating a vibrant tableau of Haitian youth.
