For various reasons, some strong entries did not make the shortlist. While these are not being considered for this call, our hope is that the designer(s) will be open to collaboration at a later date. Sincere thanks to everybody for putting time and effort into this call!
We are thrilled to announce the shortlist for the inaugural ‘DotF’ call. The standard was incredibly high across all entries, but our experts felt that these six offered smart, implementable solutions that meet a current need. We will be in touch with the shortlist this week.
We sincerely apologise for the delay with this list. We wanted to make sure that each entry was seen and considered by the relevant HCWs. This took a little longer than expected. We are excited to meet the shortlist over the coming weeks to discuss next steps!
@jamesdelaneyie@trevorvaugh Hi James, yes and no. Instead of a Q&A session we added a section on the website for submitting specific questions to each brief. These Q’s were then passed on to the healthcare champion(s) behind each brief. We felt this would allow more detailed questions and flexibility
Design on the Frontline, an HSE-Spark initiative, is closing tonight (11:59PM).
Best of luck to all the designers working on the finishing touches of your #DOTFL submissions. We can't wait to see what you've developed!
Remember: deadline is midnight tonight! #Design#Innovation
.@HSELive has called for designers to generate ideas it can implement in the face of Covid-19 (deadline 6 April!), but it's only one of a number of design initiatives in the national health service. @trevorvaugh of @designotfl tells us more...
