Huge congratulations to two of our very talented year 10 students. Having already won the Leicestershire event George and Rumaysah competed in the Science and Technology Finals representing the midlands. They performed excellently and achieved 3rd place out of 800 other students.

On Friday the first of our year 10 pupils completed the folding stool project they’ve been working on this term. They’ve done an amazing job and learned lots of new skills along the way! @NottsHigh @Year10_NHS

A busy lunch time in DT today. A mix of year 8 students designing their stoves and some working on their scalextrics car designs. Year 11 working in their projects and year 12 students designing and building their satellites for the CANSA. @Year8_NHS @SLT_NHS

@Year9_NHS students ended the year learning about sustainable design and up-cycling some old stuff. From coat hanger lamps to wine bottle wine glasses. @SLT_NHS @upcyclethat @reupcycled

Daniel Golding and Benjamin who won the electric car design.

Rumaysah Ige who was part of the overall winning team.

Some of our students have been to Gateway college today representing the school at the Leicestershire Science and Technology challenge day competition. All students performed amazingly with a number coming runners up in their events with some winners in others.
