Eldre’thalas, home of the secretive Shen’dralar and a centre of knowledge of the ancient Kaldorei Empire. One of the first things a traveler would have seen when entering the city would have been its most iconic landmark: The colosseum of the Commons area.

Even though Eldre’thalas is but a shadow of its former self, its walls still silently stand watch over Feralas. They serve as a reminder of the former glory of the Kaldorei Empire and as a warning to any who would recklessly search for power.

Why new areas? Because Eldre’thalas was a major city, meaning it was far larger than what we see in the Dire Maul dungeon. I haven’t started working on these zones yet, so you’ll have to wait a bit.
Through the last millenium, most of Eldre’thalas was abandoned by the Shen’dralar and occupied by either satyrs or ogres. Gordok’s Seat, for example, was part of a temple dedicated to a deity whose name has been forgotten.

And this concludes the series on my rework of the official areas of Eldre’thalas. I know that I haven’t shown the Hidden Reach: it’s hidden, that’s why you can’t see it. Joking aside, it will be part of one of the new areas of the city.
The courtyards of the Two Moons - now known as the “Gordok Commons” - are your average Eldreth public space. Here, nature and magic blend with the city, making these courtyards an ideal place to exchange ideas or to just relax.

The Shrine of Eldretharr is mostly remembered as the location of the Fruit of Fertility, a magical vine created by Millicent Serene. Both the plant life and population of Eldre'thalas thrived in the aura emanating from this powerful plant.

Please note that the "lore" trivia I give in my tweet is solely based on my interpretation of what few information we have on this area, and is therefore not canon.
Not all Highborne dedicated their lives to the mastery of arcane. In Warpwood Quarters, the Shen’dralar studied botany and the influence of magic on plant life, a study field in which their Suramarian counterparts have always led the way.

The former purpose of the Prison Immol’thar isn’t clear. What is certain is that it linked important parts of the city, one of it being the Athenaeum: a great library where vast amounts of knowledge were stored, most of which was lost.

@lave_llan And if you really want to know, one of these areas usually takes me about one or two weeks to build. It depends on how inspired I am/how busy I am IRL.
During Queen Azshara's reign, the Court of the Highborne was a place of political and administrative significance in Eldre'thalas. There, nobles would meet, and discuss both mundane and important matters.
