Kalangala District today hosts the final official campaign rally for the Woman Member of Parliament by-election, marking the close of the Electoral Commission’s campaign period ahead of polling on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
The by-election is expected to attract participation from 42,452 registered voters spread across Kalangala’s 64 inhabited islands on Lake Victoria, making logistics, transport, and voter mobilisation key factors in the outcome.
