@DesireMUFC Yes, way too high. But a deal of around £60M with performance-based add-ons could be decent, but even that's a little high given Transfer Market rate him at €50M (~£43M).

@markhoorocks I agree. £60m plus add-ons sounds about right to me. Especially if someone like Tonali is the main target, where you would want to keep as much flexibility as possible in the budget.

Completely depends on deal terms if they go for the private market.

I’d have obviously preferred to see something involving equity changing hands— debt/equity swap or convertible bond round to INEOS.

But, beyond that, we don’t know enough for me to have a super informed opinion.
