You are not standing with the Ukrainian people by voting down aid for Kyiv and shielding Moscow from accountability.
Utterly unacceptable nonsense that derides "economic warfare" against Russian civilians while simultaneously enabling ACTUAL WARFARE against Ukrainian civilians.
Monthly reminder that biden averaged 330k jobs a month. This 172k will surely get revised down but regardless, this is the strongest jobs report in 13 months and its only 172k jobs. This is nothing to brag about.
There's a reason he locked comments on this post. There's a lot of misunderstanding about what this bill actually does. It doesn't "tie President Trump's hands" in navigating the conflict — it steps in because he isn't meaningfully navigating it at all.
He complains about "the failure to bring this up through regular order." But that's exactly the point — leadership refused to bring it up through regular order, which is why members had to go around the Speaker and force a vote via a discharge petition. That's not how the process is supposed to work. The fact that Congress had to bypass its own leadership just to get a vote says a lot about the leadership vacuum on this issue.
Crawford also says Ukrainians need access to the tools to defend their country, and claims this bill doesn't do that. That's simply not accurate. The bill provides Ukraine with tools to defend itself — including military financing (largely in the form of loans) and stronger sanctions on Putin. This isn't a blank check.
At the end of the day, supporting Ukraine is in America's national interest. It deters further aggression, reinforces alliances, and reduces the risk of far more costly conflicts down the road. It's also, quite simply, the right thing to do.
"Look at the faces. It was kicked there on purpose. The jump was to disrespect the country"
Conservatives deeply unwell people. To them, daring to have fun in a park is a conspiracy against the state and must be met with violent force
"Who was 28 at the time" is so funny like it wasn't 4 years ago and she wasn't a full grown adult capable of not regurgitating the Russian Foreign Ministry.
💔 Kherson. Absolute pain.
A man breaks down in tears, screaming over a murdered relative.
They were just making a stop at a gas station.
We don't hate russia enough.
Fun Jones Act fact of the day: more propane has been shipped from the US mainland to Puerto Rico under the current JA waiver (410,000 barrels) than in the last 22 years combined (364,000 barrels):
Another day, another 1,500+ Russians killed or wounded in a war that never needed to happen.
Putin keeps feeding men into the grinder, and the lemmings keep marching towards it.
it’s just unbelievable
