โ Gavin stared outside his apartment window, watching the rain pour down as he held a cigarette between his fingersโ The man's eyes were formed with tears that refused to fall, his expression completely stoic.
Gavin felt so utterly alone, and sometimes his cat wasn't enough.
@RK900_87 *Gavin glanced towards Nines, his eyes running down the Android's face before grinning slightly, looking back down at his phone.*
Well, I've got you to thank for that as of lately.
@RK900_87 *Gavin's eyebrows rose in slight surprise, not expecting that reply from Nines, though it did draw out a subtle smile from Gavin.*
No, I.. I suppose not. Never thought I'd hear you say that though.
@RK900_87 Hey, Nines- Calm down, it's alright. Who says Androids can't experience burn out? Phck others, if that's how ya feel, take a break, Nines. If it makes you feel better, I've been feeling pretty burnt out too.
Again, apologies. I haven't felt much energy the last few weeks. Busy with sulking, lol. Anyway, I'll actually try to make a comfortable comeback in hopefully by Monday; I've got some case files to catch up on with Nines.
@RK900_87 *Gavin chuckled softly, leaning back and kicking his feet up onto his desk, per usual behavior.*
Hey, Nines, a simple โI'm wellโ would've sufficed. Can barely understand your smart talk.. But, uh- I'm good, just some stomach pains, nothinโ serious.
โ Gavin paced his living room, glass of whiskey in his left hand and cigarette between his right index and middle fingers. He sat down on his couch, placing down his glass before groaning, his free hand raising to massage the bridge of his nose. Gavin's life felt so monotonous.
@RK900_87 I haven't smoked a cigarette in two days over these cramps, ugh- But uh, yknow.. Those pain-killers do sound good now. Thank you, Nines.
*Gavin gave Nines a crooked smile*
