@sharonnagoanna Congratulations, that’s fantastic Sharon.
Just as a matter of interest which part of the arts are you focusing on? Visual & Performing arts or are you looking more broadly across the wider arts sector?
@sharonnagoanna @ChristopherSWIN WOW! I’m really sad to hear this news. I’m so glad I knew Christopher. He always was so friendly and generous with his knowledge of the sector. He was a leading light in bequest research and advocacy. My condolences go to his family and friends.
Your so so right Elspeth and I have to say I’m in awe that “they knelt on the neck of the slave trader Colston’s statue for 8 minutes for George Floyd and then they threw Colston into the river.”
As a conservator and heritage professional I fully support this kind of action. Momentums that glorify oppressors do not teach history, they teach white supremacy.
And now we have @DetlevLueth presenting on the work and goals of @BlueShieldAust, and calling for a new committee member. At this time of climate change, bushfires and more frequent natural disasters, their work is more important than ever! #MakingConservation
If you're dealing with the aftermath of the terrible #bushfires burning around the country, remember we have resources on fire our recovery page here: https://t.co/hqZtuBp2Uk And if you need more help, use our 'Need a Conservator?' search function here: https://t.co/c5dlacqno7
Thankyou to so many including @ScottMorrisonMP and @MarisePayne as well as the amazing people at @AusAmbBKK My thanks again to the people of Thailand for respecting international law. Hopefully we can build on this powerful step forward #SaveHakeem
