@ModalMotors There are many different models and kV variations. We will be listing the public OTS motors as we complete production tooling for each. Currently we are building to customer spec based on volume commitments.
@Brusco_RF@Rich_Pluta@ModalMotors We say Rare-Earth optional actually. It’s actually the elimination of all the flux leakage in traditional motors and utilizing 100% of the phase coil to create and focus the magnetic flux that eliminates the need of rare-earths to achieve the same torque density.
@Brusco_RF@ModalMotors@Rich_Pluta I understand the skepticism. The physics speak for itself. I am thinking I will put up our Tech Deep Dive soon that we share with Tech Savvy customers and investors.
@v_varola@Rich_Pluta@ModalMotors We don’t use Ferrites. We use Niron and SmFeN. Even though Sm is on the rare-earth spectrum it is available many place outside of China.
@WattDisney@Rich_Pluta@Scobleizer@ModalMotors We beat any rare-earth competitors with non-rare-earth due to our 100% coil utilization to create the electromotive force inside the motor whereas our competitors only get between 45-55% utilization. That’s why they need rare-earth.
